Abstract

Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) is a metric used in the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) operating program to keep equipment in ideal condition and eliminate six important equipment losses.Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) is a comprehensive measure of performance associated with process quality and efficiency. PT. Sumatera Speciality Coffee (SCC) Silangit is an agribusiness coffee company that has been operating effectively since April 2017 and this company has never been free of problems in its production line related to machinery or equipment. In order to obtain a percentage of the OEE value, the performance rate and the rate of quality of the product are required. Huller's Overral Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) engine has an average result of 71% which means that it is still in the middle category, so it still needs to be improved to increase the value of OEE to reach the world class category. The factor that has the influence of waste and thus results in losses during the dominant production process based on six big losses is reduced yeild loss which has a total time of 65.16 hours and a total percentage of 59% of the total time loss.
